SKIN TREATMENTS
The Willow team is made up of highly qualified Beauty Therapists (and self-titled ‘Skin Nerds’). We also have a background of medical knowledge available, with our salon owner Rosie undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing, our Beauty Therapist Val having just completed her Diploma of Nursing, and our Dermal Clinician Maria having completed a Bachelor of Health Science.
The treatments that we offer here at Willow are selected based on our thorough understanding of skin therapies, and provide a holistic approach to addressing and rectifying problematic skin.
DMK IN-SALON TREATMENTS

These treatments are formulated on a cellular level to restore skin to its optimum level of functioning.

DMK treatments are designed to locate, address and rectify the root cause of problematic skin (they resolve the problem itself, rather than simply covering up the symptoms).

DMK treatments can address a huge variety of skin concerns, including but not limited to: fine lines and ageing, acne, dullness, pigmentation, and rosacea.
COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY (SKIN NEEDLING)

Skin needling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the upper dermis of the skin. This elicits a natural ‘wound healing’ response, which encourages the production of collagen and elastin. Skin needling is suitable for all skin types, and all areas of the face, neck and body.

At Willow, we work with Dermapen products to administer skin needling treatments. Considered the ‘gold standard’ of skin needling, Dermapen offers medical-grade micro-needles which are designed for precise contact with the skin, and which are adjustable, allowing for unique individual needs.

Nerve receptors become distracted during the process of skin needling, which allows for a generally comfortable treatment. The sensation is similar to an intense granular exfoliant.

Downtime varies according to the individual. You may experience mild redness and heat for up to 24 hours, small blood blisters for 1-2 days, or mild itching and flaking for 3-4 days.

Long-term collagen tightening will begin to take place over a period of 8 weeks, and treated areas will experience sustained improvement for 3-6 months post treatment. Willow recommends a minimum of 3 treatments for optimal results.

Collagen Induction Therapy can address a huge variety of skin concerns, including but not limited to: fine lines & wrinkles, acne, trauma scars, stretch marks, pigmentation, rosacea, and enlarged pores.
DMK HOME PRESCRIPTIVES
In addition to our in-salon treatments, we can also provide you with a tailored home regimen to support and enhance your results. DMK products can only be prescribed by registered skin technicians, and we will only ever prescribe products that will address your unique concerns and goals.
The DMK product range also includes supplements, which can support your skin health from the inside out.
SKIN CONSULTATIONS
We value a personalised and holistic approach to all of our client interactions. We take into account a number of factors when conducting a consultation, including medical history, gut health, diet, stress factors, and environmental contributors. Skin consultations allow you a chance to explain your unique skin concerns and goals, and they allow us to develop tailored treatment advice.
Skin consultations require a $50 booking deposit, which is redeemable against products or future treatments.
